// Luckily Strombo alerted me to this amazing project that Tim Burton created. It’s a social media story telling experiment usting Twitter, running from Nov 22 – Dec 6. You can tweet your version of a continuation of the story in Twitter using the tag #BurtonStory, and the best tweets of the day will be selected to build the story. Here’s the intro (same as above): Stainboy, using his obvious expertise, was called in to investigate mysterious glowing goo on the gallery floor #BurtonStory. Check it out @ http://www.burtonstory.com.

// Another minor setback in the creation of my boom lifestyle online network this week…such is life. Speaking of boomers, there’s been plenty of news on this demo recently as so many edge retirement; apparently there were 8.8 million babes born between ’46 & ’65! Next year, the 1st boomers turn 65, and over half will keep working after 65. For money? Right? Environics Research Group co-founder Mike Adams (who is 64), admits “baby boomers will keep working because we think it will keep us alive. Leaving a legacy is very important, and the admiration of our kids.” So mom, dad, pony up and make me proud…by producing (& airing) the documentary you always wanted to make and travel to the destinations you fantasized about. You know which dream belongs to whom, or is it more like which hallucination, ha.

// Nike foundation created this YouTube channel to help diminish poverty among females & allow the movement to gain more traction. They produced a very interesting promo spot on how 50 million 12-year-old girls in poverty could equal 50 million solutions the world needs right now. Visit http://www.girleffect.org for a more in-depth video on this issue.

// Typically, I’m blogging about brands or individuals that express creativity through their work in the consumer world, across my favorite storytelling mediums: television, mobile and the online world. First and foremost, I value freedom in my life and remember those in my family who had to fight for it, so I thought I would least acknowledge today. I’m brought back to remembrance day when I was in grade 5, when I had to recite horrific stories about my grandparents perils during the war. The Huffington Post  compiled of some of the best and most famous remembrance sayings in one place. Arianna Huffington is a genuine speaker, so in the spirit of being biased toward her, my heritage and THP, here they are: “Freedom is never free.” -Author Unknown, “How important it is for us to recognize and celebrate our heroes and she-roes!” -Maya Angelou, “When our perils are past, shall our gratitude sleep?” -George Canning, “Courage is almost a contradiction in terms. It means a strong desire to live taking the form of readiness to die.” -G.K. Chesterton, “But the freedom that they fought for, and the country grand they wrought for, Is their monument to-day, and for aye.” -Thomas Dunn English.

// Designer Natalie Good, founder of the line, Andy Hall, launched her new site on Friday. She described her line as “an inspiration from Woody Allen’s Annie Hall and the eccentric Andy Warhol, always pushing boundaries,” and why not capitalize on both iconic creatives as personas for a clothing line? I was able to preview her 2011 collection, which was full of experimental pieces, I would even say avant-garde, mixing runway looks with smooth, comfortable pieces in dark tones. So, in other words, casual wear with flair. Shop for it here.
