// I remember visiting a Holt Renfrew pop-up store on King Street with my mom last year; enjoying the unique unexpected physical experience in front of me, as opposed to online. Pop-up retail stores were all the rage years ago, fast becoming a little too trendy…and now its digital counterpart has caught up. It seems to complete the evolution (or maybe just scratch the surface, we’ll see). Roots Canada is now using Facebook as a platform to launch a temp site, offering a limited collection to build on their brand awareness. You have to like the brand first to get in to peruse the merchandise. I wonder if they used Facebook Deals yet, to allow check-ins on fb for discounts & special offers on Roots hot items …More @ http://www.facebook.com/smwto?v=wall.
