// Typically, I’m blogging about brands or individuals that express creativity through their work in the consumer world, across my favorite storytelling mediums: television, mobile and the online world. First and foremost, I value freedom in my life and remember those in my family who had to fight for it, so I thought I would least acknowledge today. I’m brought back to remembrance day when I was in grade 5, when I had to recite horrific stories about my grandparents perils during the war. The Huffington Post¬† compiled of some of the best and most famous remembrance sayings in one place. Arianna Huffington is a genuine speaker, so in the spirit of being biased toward her, my heritage and THP, here they are: “Freedom is never free.” –Author Unknown, “How important it is for us to recognize and celebrate our heroes and she-roes!” –Maya Angelou, “When our perils are past, shall our gratitude sleep?” –George Canning, “Courage is almost a contradiction in terms. It means a strong desire to live taking the form of readiness to die.” –G.K. Chesterton, “But the freedom that they fought for, and the country grand they wrought for, Is their monument to-day, and for aye.” –Thomas Dunn English.
