// Ah, I was wrong – ONE more thing before leaving on my trip (back to posting July 1st). Pop Life: Art In A Material World, the Ottawa-based art exhibit, runs June 11 – Sept 19. Includes great artists like; Andy Warhol, Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, and Takashi Murakami. I got a taste of Jeff Koons‘ work at Nuit Blache 2009, his giant inflatable silver rabbit was fascinating. Jeff’s work became popular in the 80′s for elevating kitschy museum art, and his marriage to an Italian porn star.
